About
Someday, I want to be a mad scientist.
Have you ever had someone pepper you with acronyms, jargony bullshit, and overused tropes? Even better: did this happen on a conference call? I feel your pain. I can't make heads-or-tails of what they're saying, and I'm guessing they can't either. Listening to that garbage makes me question the speakers intelligence and wistfully consider a new career path on an Arctic Icebreaker. 'Digital' doesn't have to be overrun by charlatans and snake oil salesmen.
The world is changing, much faster than we understand—linear has given way to exponential growth—but we should still be able to discuss ideas and concepts without needing a PhD in astrophysics and a deep understanding of full-stack programming.
Who knows, maybe I'm full of shit, too.
